MIYE Creatives – Hanging By A Thread – Artists Unmasked

Mud In Your Eyes Creatives were formed by a group of local prophetic artists from around the city who wanted to connect and see what God was saying through their work. In doing so, they realised the need for encouragement and community that supported creative exploration and expression. They based the group name on John 9 vs. 1-6, a creative miracle where Jesus healed the man born blind by putting mud in his eyes.

From 10:00 a.m. to noonish, you will have an opportunity to see the artwork created by the group as well as hear the stories behind the paintings as well as the process the artists use in creating prophetically.

Bring a bag lunch, and we will stop to eat and fellowship for a half hour or so. (Coffee and bottled water is available). After we have been refortified, we will have opportunity for creative contemplation/expression as you draw near again. At approximately 2:00 p.m. we will begin to make room for people to talk about their work. Writers will have the option of reading some of what they wrote, painters and photographers can share the images they’ve captured. There is no pressure to speak or share if the timing is not right for you.
